Features

Everything Beacon does, and a little about how it does it.

Sub-second queries

Search 30 days of traces and logs and get answers before you've finished reading the question.

Beacon stores telemetry in columnar segments and runs aggregation at the edge, close to where your data lands. The result is P95 query latency under one second across a month of retention.

Traces, logs and metrics together

Jump from a slow span to the logs it emitted to the metric that spiked, without changing tools.

Every signal is correlated by trace ID and resource, so context is one click away instead of one tab away.

Alerting that respects your attention

Grouped notifications, quiet hours, and alerts that resolve themselves when the signal recovers.

Fewer, better pages. Every alert carries the context you need to act, and noisy alerts are surfaced so you can delete them.

Built for the edge

First-class support for Workers, Lambda and other serverless runtimes, with sampling done before data leaves the region.

Beacon's collectors run in 300+ locations, so telemetry never crosses an ocean before it's indexed.

SSO, audit logs and SOC 2 on every plan

Security features aren't an upsell. Every project gets SSO, scoped API keys and a full audit trail.

Beacon is SOC 2 Type II certified. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit, and single-tenant deployments are available on request.

OpenTelemetry native

Bring your existing instrumentation. Beacon speaks OTLP, so there's no proprietary agent and no lock-in.

If you ever leave, your instrumentation comes with you. We think that's the only honest way to build this kind of product.
