How is Beacon priced?
A flat $49 per project per month, with unlimited seats and 30 days of retention. Solo projects under one million events a month are free.
Do I need to install an agent?
No. Beacon accepts standard OpenTelemetry (OTLP) over HTTP or gRPC. If you already have instrumentation, point it at Beacon and you're done.
Where is my data stored?
You choose a home region when you create a project. Telemetry is sampled and indexed at the edge, then stored only in that region.
Can I self-host Beacon?
Single-tenant deployments in your own cloud account are available on request. Fully air-gapped installs are on the roadmap.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
You can export everything as OTLP or Parquet at any time. After cancellation, data is retained for 30 days and then permanently deleted.
