About Beacon
We build tools we wanted to use ourselves.
Beacon started in 2024 when three engineers got tired of paying for observability platforms that needed their own on-call rotation. We wanted something you could set up in an afternoon, that stayed fast as you grew, and that never surprised you on the invoice.
What we believe
- Defaults should be good enough that most teams never touch a config file.
- Latency is a feature. Every screen should load in under 200ms.
- Pricing should be a number you can predict, not a spreadsheet.
The team
